Since establishing Translife in 2002, I have worked with thousands of clients from every walk of life. Every person arrives with a different story, different hopes and different levels of confidence, yet they all deserve exactly the same warm welcome, respect and understanding.
As Sophie Summers, I have been privileged to watch clients take their very first steps into the world as themselves, celebrate important milestones and build confidence that extends far beyond the dressing room.
That privilege is something I never take for granted, and it continues to inspire everything I do today through Translife and the Translife Dressing Service.

For more than twenty years I have specialised in helping members of the crossdressing and transgender community experience a complete male to female transformation in a welcoming, private and supportive environment.
Every appointment is tailored to the individual. Whether it is your very first makeover or you are an experienced crossdresser looking to refine your appearance, my goal is always the same — to help you look your absolute best while ensuring you feel relaxed, respected and completely at ease.
Working from the private Translife dressing studio, I provide professional makeup application, wig styling, outfit coordination, breast form fitting, footwear advice and photography, creating a complete transformation experience rather than simply applying cosmetics.
Thousands of clients have trusted me with one of the most important days of their journey, and I continue to treat every appointment with the same care, discretion and enthusiasm that inspired me to begin over twenty years ago.

Translife is not simply a business to me. Sophie Summers is part of who I am, and supporting the crossdressing community has become a central part of my life.
If I am not working as a makeup artist, I am usually involved in the e-commerce side of Translife, socialising as Sophie wherever possible, or supporting local and national events connected to the crossdressing and transgender community.
In earlier years, I was proud to be actively involved with Sparkle, helping with the original charity status and supporting some of the early events. I also attended many Beaumont Society events run by the sadly missed Janet Scott, as well as spending time around the Wayout Club during its memorable early years.
Those experiences shaped the way I work today. Every client is treated with warmth, patience, discretion and genuine understanding, because this is not just something I do professionally — it is something I care about deeply.
