Selecting Breast Forms

In general there are two things to take into account when you are thinking of purchasing silicon breast forms, apart from the obvious “how much they cost” and they are:
1. The right shape for your body form
2. The correct size
Correct Shape
In general there are three main styles or shapes to select from irrespective of the manufacturer, each one has its own merits or feature’s. Here I can only speak about the ones we have been supplying for the last eight years or so but the principals are the same when applied across the board. The only side note I would add is that the feel, durability and cost of your forms will depend primarily on the grade of the silicone used in the forms and the general materials of construction and bonding used.
Teardrop or Oval Breast Form

This is a typical oval design silicon breast form

a) Teardrop or Oval shape breast forms
This is generally the standard choice for the majority of Tgirls because of the nature of the design of this form. As the name suggests the breast forms are shaped like a teardrop, with a central body having volume and a tapered tail to assist in the blending of the form into your chest wall. The reverse of the form has a shallow concave.

This design can be placed vertically or horizontally in the bra, or warn bra-less if desired. The oval breast forms have a contoured shape, which is more in keeping with a natural breast shape when warn in a horizontal position making this the ideal breast form for everyday wear.

All our oval breast form have a built in nipple and are constructed in a light weight silicon gel to ensure a natural weight, feel and movement.

Triangle silicon breast forms

b) Triangle breast forms
These triangle forms size for size have more of a central mass or volume than the earlier teardrop design. Best described as the “perfect implants” the type you see on women that have a rounded full bust  shape. They are becoming more popular and if you are looking for a super model voluptuous like then this would be a good option.

These Silicone breast forms have more of a concave back than the oval / teardrop breast forms described above. If you have any breast development or pectoral muscle then this design will site closer to your chest wall than the teardrop or oval design as it has a more concave back to it.

The table below demonstrates the difference in structure of the triangle form when compared to the same size oval shape breast form design:

Size               Weight(g)        Length (inch)       Width (inch)      Height(inch)

Triangle                5                    340                 5.25                  6.25                    1.8
Teardrop             5                    342                 7.125                5.25              2.0

Classic design silicon breast form

c) Classic breast forms
This is a hybrid between the oval shape breast forms and the triangle forms, it is the only design with a left and right breast form, the slight wings give the contour advantage of the teardrops whist the mass of the triangles is incorporated within the classic to give it the volume and concave back.

Selecting the correct size

This comes down to your personal preferences, if you wish to look natural then the average lady is a B or C cup in which case this is generally a size 5/6 for a B cup or 6/7 for a C cup. As you would appreciate the larger your natural chest size then the bigger the form has to be to make they look in keeping with your frame. We have developed a comprehensive size chart on our website in the “breast form” section so you can locate the size form you would need to achieve the look you are after.
