A few points about Chris's response; I bought a made to measure under bust corset from C&S constructions, a UK company and it fits like a dream. Yes, it does lace at the back but it isn't difficult to lace yourself in. Expect to pay £250 for a quality made to measure but it will last for years. I suppose it does take a bit of "bottle" to go out dressed as a male whilst wearing a corset for waist training but I do it regularly. My cross dressing in public is limited to ladies jeans and jumpers over my corset and nobody gives me a second glance. Be aware that being laced down from my "natural" 32 inch waist to 28 inches can be a bit wearing at first but I can manage up to 8 hours.

A very interesting article, but I fancy it would take a lot of courage to go out and about dressed as a male wearing a corset or waist cincher.Wearing one purely for waist training you understand. The only other point I would like to make is,nearly all of these garments are laced, mainly at the back, therefore one needs assistance in putting one on,hardly an ideal situation.I am aware that elasticated versions are available but they do not have the same degree of control as a boned variety, steel over plastic.Take care and thank you,Chris.
