The old saying "practice makes perfect" is so true when it comes to applying cosmetics. As with everything in life we have to start somewhere. The objective of our one hour sessions is to introduce basic techniques in skin care, colour selection and application.

In simple terms, how to make the best out of what we have. Bring along any cosmetics, brushes….. well anything you use and we can show you how to get the best results with what you currently have or use.

At Translife we have an extensive range of cosmetics from the worlds leading cosmetics companies (well I think so - MAC, Kryolan) so don't worry if you do not have a suitcase full of make-up.

Learn from our own make-up expert how to achieve a gorgeous and flawless look with a personal make-up lesson. Discover how to enhance your facial shape and its features quickly and confidently in our two / three hour sessions. We will work with you on wig styles that best flatter your facial features.

This is a fantastic fun way to breathe new life into your look. In these lessons you will learn how to apply your make-up quickly, effectively and in the right colours to suit your natural colouring and personality.

You will take away a personalised workbook detailing all the make-up advice given to you, plus hints and tips to keep you looking your best.

A makeover lesson with Sophie will normally include:

• How to best care for your skin
• A fast and simple make-up routine
• Make-up colours that suit you naturally
• Application tips for a long-lasting look
• Make-up advice for your special occasions

To ensure that you get to grips with the techniques and applications, we show you, you'll be taken through the make-up process slowly.

We give you time to see exactly how we apply the products and the various shades that will flatter you.

There is time to discuss different looks and ask questions, and so that you remember everything, we'll record all our advice to help you recreate what you have learnt. All this plus tea /coffee to your heart’s content for only £50 / £75.
